It’s that time of year again. The hot and humid summer weather is still going strong, yet stores are already selling fall and winter collections! If you’re like us, you’re probably not quite ready to let go of those sweet summertime days, but it never hurts to think ahead, right? Read on for 5 different resortwear pieces that you can wear now and later, once that crisp autumn air is upon us.

1. Go-To Maxi Dresses
Maxi dresses are pretty much synonymous with summertime style, but they’re also perfect for fall and spring. Maxis come in an endless variety of styles–halter, strapless, short-sleeved, long-sleeved, you name it! Style your summertime maxi with a leather jacket or comfy cardigan, depending on the dress and look you’re going for. Add a pair of boots and you’re ready to hit the streets. Style tip: Add a long slip under sheer maxi dress styles for no-show coverage.

2. Crop Tops and Rashguards
Both crop tops and rashguards were all the rage this summer, and we saw so many different styles that catered to girly-girls, boho-babes and surfer girls alike. In addition to bikini bottoms, certain styles of crop tops and rashguards look awesome paired with high-waist pants, as well as skirts in the mini, midi and maxi variety, so feel free to rock them straight through fall.

3. Bustiers and Bra Tops
Let’s face it–bustiers and bra tops are essentially bras that are acceptable to wear poolside or at the beach. Since bandeau tops have started to pop up in everyday fashion, you can totally rock your bustiers and bra tops throughout the year as well! Like bandeaus, you can wear them under a flowy cotton tank for a casual daytime look, under a crochet or mesh crop top at that upcoming concert or even with a button-down and blazer at work. The style possibilities are endless!

4. One-Piece Swimsuits
Like bodysuits, structured one-pieces create clean lines, a smoother shape and can provide amazing control and support. Furthermore, certain styles also look great with jeans, skirts and work pants! Stick to strapless or bustier-style one-pieces and leave those with plunging necklines and risqué cuts for the beach.

5. Wedges and Flats
Summer flats and wedges are pretty much essential for summertime, but depending on the style and the weather, they can also be fantastic options for spring and autumn! Jelly flats are great with jeans for day, while a pair of peep-toe wedges is perfect for more formal engagements. But both styles can be dressed up or dressed down!
